Our decades of experience have shown that groups and teams are more effective in their approach and delivery when expert facilitation is in place.
Without it, conversations often take place in a random way without decisions being made and measures agreed. We also find that human nature (and/or autocratic leadership) causes people to defer to the loudest voice or most senior person.
For this reason, many of our clients use internal facilitators when they can and call us when they can’t. We work with boards and senior teams to provide challenge, support and an effective facilitation process when critical subjects are being discussed. Examples include:
- agreeing mission, vision, strategy and goals
- managing strategic change
- new product development
- partnership/ strategic alliance development
Facilitation is a key part of much of the other work that we do so we are pretty darn good at it and, as you would expect, if our presence in a discussion doesn’t add massive value then we wouldn’t expect to be paid so there’s no risk in giving it a go!
