Understanding the technical skills of Engineering Managers is rarely an issue for businesses as the output of their skills is seen when assessing the vehicles and plant they work on. The real issue is trying to truly understand their behavioural, leadership and management competencies. The work Rambutan has done, in providing us with a bespoke 360⁰ tool has enabled us to tangibly understand the current competency levels and gaps of our Engineering Managers. As such we have been able to undertake individual development reviews and to produce a tailored development plan, which will help them improve in the areas Rambutan enabled us to become aware of.

The approach from Lucy, Mark and the team was very proactive; they listened to our needs, gained a deep insight into what we wanted and provided us with tools and techniques to gain an understanding of the previously unknown areas of our Engineering management skill set.
