David finally gets to end 23 years of curiosity and finds the coolest meeting/training room he has ever seen.
Thanks to Heather Somers at the RAC for being such a great host (see my special parking place) and for helping me end years of curiosity. I have driven past the RAC building on the M5 near Bristol in the UK hundreds of times and always wondered what it would be like in the room at the top of the tower. The answer is that it’s got to be the coolest meeting/training room in the UK. The reality is even more impressive than I’d imagined. In fact, the whole building is an energy-efficient, high-tech architectural marvel. It has its own glass elevator with only two buttons (‘T’ for tower and ‘G’ for ground). From the top, you can see seven counties as well as old and new bridges that link England and Wales…oh, and it sways in the wind!
It was also great to see Heather again and hear about some of the amazing things the RAC is doing. Can anyone top this with a cooler meeting room?
